miniature is another thing that has attracted me. it is interesting to see the imitation of things that is not only reduced in size dramatically but also made meticulously. therefore, when i first saw this picture on pascal grob's blog, i was amazed how delicate these miniatures were!! it looked as if it had been real. however, as i went on reading his description, it turned out that i was deceived by my own eyes!! this is actually a picture of a real city, zurich. it turns out to look this way due to his playing with depth of field of his camera. although it is not a real meticulous model, the fact that it looks this amazing still stuns me as much. it is interesting to see how different lens, tiny pieces of glasses, can offer you many different ways to see the world. as for this picture, i feel as if i can literally rule zurich with my one hand.
