an adventure of us in a country where we hardly speak the language. we were so excited!! however, what we cherished the most about this trip is the fact that, during the trip, our mind was free from all the worries. for once, it felt like we were free from any confinements, from any responsibilities. it's true that we were thinking and rushing everyday; where to go, where to eat, where to sleep. however, those are just temporary. it felt like, those two weeks, we lived day by day. just think of where we wanted to go and just went there. it is indescribable. it is as if you do not need to carry any weight on your shoulders. however, it lasted only two weeks. as we were back to thailand, everything was back to normal.

# 6 - mini me

<img style="display:block; wake up, eat, fight with traffic, work, eat, go home, sleep. this mundane daily life of salaryman was something i had not wanted to become. i still have the same impression on it now but, as i am growing up, reality hits me hard and becoming a salaryman with monthly incomes seems to be a good ground to stand on. i have to admit that now i still do not know what i am going to become in the future. i might be one of those who refuse the monthly income in order to persuade my dream.

visit quinquet's website for more information:
bruno quinquet

# 4 - simply beautiful

<img style="display:block; it is rather ordinary but meaningful. this photograph shows the ruins from a major kobe earthquake in 1995. it looks like another plain picture except the fact that it shows the sign saying 「人間性回復のチャンス」which means “the chance to recover our humanity”. this reflects a lot of things happening during the earthquake including human's behavior.

this makes me feel that something beautiful and meaningful might not be hard to seek as people usually think. like shimabuku's work, it does not need to be "extraordinary" to enchant the audience. therefore, if we do not try so hard to search for what we do not have, we might notice something special around ourselves. as paulo coelho wrote in his book "the alchemist" that "when each day is the same as the next, it’s because people fail to recognize the good things that happen in their lives every day that the sun rises".

visit shimabuku's website for more information:
shimabuku michihiro

# 3 - watercolor class

<img style="display:block;
